When the Seven Network partnered with the Food Network, the brief was to bring food to life and align the two brands. To make it fun and visceral.
I designed the on air channel branding and a toolkit of brand elements. I oversaw the creation of templates that would provide a consistent animation style, timing and creative direction. They were also time efficient. Vibrant colours, dancing circles of food and the simple animation make the channel pop on-air.

As the 7two designer, I was responsible for the creation of the channel identity, and the motion graphics for specials, launches and daily work. The limitations of the older content provided an opportunity to explore and have fun with design while maintaining the integrity of the channel.

The opener for Gardening Australia on ABC brought the existing logo to life as a flowering living garden.
A combination of stop frame animation, botanical drawings and commissioned 3D animation was used.
I collaborated with my friend and colleague Betsy Baker on this opening title sequence for the ABC Drama series THE CUT.
As with most ABC productions it was a very limited budget and we had to be very resourceful using flat animation and asking our colleagues to be in it!
As it was a drama series about sports betting .. we used the the roulette of the pokie machine to bring on the credits. Needless to say we had a lot of laughs on this job!
